Woodloes Homestead

Woodloes Homestead, built in 1871 by architect Francis Bird, is a historic Victorian Georgian home located on the picturesque banks of the Canning River in Cannington, Western Australia. This heritage-listed site showcases unique architectural features, including verandahs on all sides, limestone rubble walls, and a combination of timber and corrugated iron roofing. Originally constructed for Bird himself, the homestead has changed hands multiple times before being acquired by the City of Canning in 1974 for preservation.
