Monkton Old Hall

Monkton Old Hall is a historically significant Grade I listed building located in Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales. Originally serving as a guesthouse for the nearby Monkton Priory, the hall features a Norman-style chimney and primarily dates back to the 14th century, with significant restorations in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. After falling into disrepair post-dissolution of the monasteries, it underwent extensive renovations led by J.R. Cobb in 1879, and later modifications included the addition of leaded windows. Now managed by the Landmark Trust as a holiday let, the hall is surrounded by gardens recognized for their historical importance, making it an intriguing destination for tourists and researchers alike.
