USS Blueback at OMSI (museum submarine)

USS Blueback (SS-581), the last non-nuclear submarine built for the U.S. Navy, is preserved as a museum ship at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) on Portland's east waterfront. The submarine is displayed alongside OMSI's exhibits and is open for public tours as part of the museum's offerings. OMSI is a major science museum and cultural landmark in Southeast Portland.
