Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign

The neon landmark was designed by graphic artist Betty Willis and erected in 1959 at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. It sits on the median of Las Vegas Boulevard and has been a frequent subject of photography, civic promotion, and preservation efforts. The sign is a municipally recognized landmark and draws thousands of visitors who stop for photos each year.
