Dauer Hall

Dauer Hall is a historic building located on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, Florida, recognized for its Collegiate Gothic architecture and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. Constructed during the Great Depression, it originally served as the Florida Union, housing various student facilities. In 1975, it was renamed in honor of Manning J. Dauer, a prominent political science professor. The building now includes the Keene Faculty Center, a multipurpose space for faculty events, and retains its historical charm with stained glass windows and wood-paneled interiors, making it a notable site for visitors interested in the university's history and architecture.
