Coulter Flats

Coulter Flats, also known as The Coulter, is a historic apartment building located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Constructed in 1907, this three-story structure showcases a blend of Tudor Revival and Jacobean Revival architectural styles, featuring intricate terra cotta ornamentation and distinctive Flemish gables. The building is notable for its raised basement and is framed with hollow tile and concrete. Recognized for its historical significance, Coulter Flats was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers interested in early 20th-century architecture.
