San Francisco Ferry Building

The Ferry Building opened in 1898 and features a 245-foot clock tower modeled after the Giralda bell tower in Seville. It served as the primary transportation hub for ferry traffic before the rise of bridge connections and underwent a major restoration completed in 2003 to become a marketplace housing shops, restaurants, and offices. Its location on the Embarcadero makes it a focal point for the city's waterfront and farmers market events.
