UTSA's Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security and NSA CAE designations

The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) houses the Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security (CIAS), a university research and outreach center focused on cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection. UTSA has been designated by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense for both education and research. CIAS and allied UTSA programs run cyber exercises, training, and capture-the-flag events that engage students, government agencies, and industry partners in the San Antonio area.
