Pacific Science Center - 1962 World's Fair legacy

Pacific Science Center was constructed for the 1962 Century 21 Exposition (the Seattle World's Fair) as the United States Science Pavilion and remains on the Seattle Center campus. The nonprofit museum operates hands-on science exhibits, a planetarium, and IMAX theaters and retains the distinctive mid-century arches from its original fair-era architecture. It continues to provide educational programs and public science exhibitions in downtown Seattle.
