Belgravia Building

The Belgravia Building, located in Boise, Idaho, is a historic 2-story sandstone and brick structure built in 1904 in the Romanesque Revival style. Originally named DuBois Flats, it faced legal challenges that delayed its opening until 1906. This building, one of the first apartment complexes in Boise, features 30 spacious apartments and was notable for having Boise's first galvanized iron roof. Its construction site was previously home to the Wallace House, which was linked to Idaho's first territorial governor. The building's name, Belgravia Terraces, is a nod to the prestigious Belgravia District in London, and it has been recognized as part of the Boise Historic District, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers alike.
