Old Jaro Municipal Hall

The Old Jaro Municipal Hall, located in Iloilo City, Philippines, is a significant heritage building that once served as the government seat of the former city of Jaro. Constructed between 1933 and 1934, it showcases Art Deco architecture designed by Juan Arellano. After Jaro was incorporated into Iloilo City in 1941, the building transitioned to serve various municipal functions. In 2014, it was donated to the National Museum of the Philippines, which undertook restoration efforts, completing them in 2017. The building is now recognized as an Important Cultural Property and is part of a Cultural Heritage Tourism Zone, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in the region's history and architecture.
