Majestic Theatre (historic performing-arts palace)

The Majestic Theatre opened in 1921 as a vaudeville and movie palace and retains an ornately decorated interior with murals and detailed plasterwork. Located on Main Street, it was restored for use as a performing arts venue and now hosts touring Broadway productions, concerts, and special events. The theater is widely recognized as one of Dallas's major historic entertainment landmarks.
