Karl Mathie House

The Karl Mathie House, situated in Mosinee, Wisconsin, is a historic site that reflects the legacy of Karl Mathie, a prominent clergyman and educator who played a pivotal role in revitalizing the local economy as the first president of Wausau Sulphate Fiber Co. The house, which is located along the scenic Wisconsin River, was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 and the State Register of Historic Places in 1989.
