Pioneer Plaza cattle drive bronze installation

Pioneer Plaza features a large bronze sculpture installation by Robert Summers depicting a 19th-century cattle drive with 49 longhorn steers and three trail riders. The installation was completed and unveiled in 1994 and is set in a terraced limestone plaza with a man-made stream intended to evoke the old Shawnee Trail. It is one of the most photographed public art works in downtown Dallas.
