The Hermitage (Andrew Jackson's home)

The Hermitage is the former home of President Andrew Jackson and is operated as a museum and historic site interpreting his life and the plantation’s history. The site preserves the mansion, outbuildings (including slave quarters), and landscaped grounds, and offers guided tours and educational programs. It is a designated National Historic Landmark and a longstanding cultural landmark in the Hermitage neighborhood east of downtown Nashville.
