Science Museum Oklahoma Fossil Lab and Exhibits

Science Museum Oklahoma operates a visible fossil preparation lab where visitors can watch staff and volunteers prepare and conserve vertebrate and invertebrate fossils. The museum displays fossil specimens collected from Oklahoma localities, including Permian-age material from the state's red beds as well as other Paleozoic and Mesozoic fossils. The Fossil Lab and paleontology exhibits are part of the museum's Earth science programming for visitors.
