The Pearl - historic Pearl Brewery redeveloped into a unique mixed-use district

The Pearl complex occupies the site of the former Pearl Brewery and was redeveloped into a mixed-use district featuring restaurants, shops, residences, and a large weekend farmers market. The site is a widely cited example of adaptive reuse of industrial brewery buildings and has become a culinary and cultural hub in San Antonio. The Pearl's redevelopment also preserved significant brewery architecture while introducing public events and green space along the San Antonio River.
