Fort Worth Zoo

The Fort Worth Zoo, established in 1909, is the city's principal zoological institution and is located in a park complex west of downtown. The zoo maintains collections of mammals, birds, reptiles, and other taxa and operates education and conservation programs for the public. It is a major Fort Worth cultural attraction with seasonal events and exhibits.
