San Diego Santa Fe Depot (historic rail terminal)

The San Diego Santa Fe Depot opened in 1915 as the passenger station for the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway and was executed in a Spanish Colonial Revival style with prominent domes and arcades. The depot remains an active transportation hub serving Amtrak and the COASTER commuter rail and is a landmark feature of downtown San Diego's waterfront area. Its historic train shed and passenger facilities continue to be used for rail services and public access.
