Branicki Palace, Warsaw

The Branicki Palace, an 18th-century Rococo mansion in Warsaw, was built for the aristocratic Branicki-Gryf family and features stunning sculptures and a horseshoe layout. Originally a 17th-century Sapieha family residence, it was transformed in 1740 by architect Johann Sigmund Deybel. The palace served as a cultural hub during the Enlightenment, hosted by Izabella Poniatowska, sister of King Stanisław August Poniatowski. Although heavily damaged during World War II, it was restored in 1967 and now operates as a hotel, making it a unique blend of history and modern hospitality for tourists and researchers alike.
