Deep Eddy Pool (oldest Texas swimming pool)

Deep Eddy Pool was established as a public swimming area in 1915 and is commonly cited as the oldest continuously operating swimming pool in Texas. The pool sits at the western edge of Lady Bird Lake (formerly the Colorado River channel) and has been rebuilt and renovated multiple times while remaining a City of Austin–operated public pool. It is a documented piece of Austin's early recreational infrastructure.
