IU Science and Engineering Laboratory Building

The IU Science and Engineering Laboratory Building, completed in 2013, is a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary facility located on the IUPUI campus. Designed by Blackburn Architects and BSA LifeStructures, this $25 million building features various laboratories and a vivarium, marking the first nonmedical academic construction on campus in two decades. Notably, it houses the CyberLab, which has been pivotal in developing online education tools since its inception in 1996. The building also hosts the 'Welcome to the Neighborhood' exhibit, showcasing the rich history of the near-west side of Indianapolis, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in education, technology, and local history.
