This establishment has remained a staple in the community, even during Prohibition when it was listed as selling only 'soft drinks.' The building showcases distinctive architectural features typical of early 20th-century commercial structures, including a chamfered corner entrance and an oriel window. It was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
