Lloyd D. George Federal Courthouse

The Lloyd D. George Federal Courthouse is the primary federal courthouse in Las Vegas and houses the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada and related federal court functions. The building contains secured courtrooms, judicial chambers, and holding facilities for detainees pending federal proceedings, and access is controlled by federal courthouse security screening. It is named for U.S. District Judge Lloyd D. George and serves as the main federal judicial facility in southern Nevada.
