Fox Theatre

The Fox Theatre opened in 1928 as a lavish movie palace and vaudeville house designed by architect C. Howard Crane. With a seating capacity of roughly 5,000, it is one of the largest surviving atmospheric theaters in the United States. The interior features extensive Moorish, Egyptian, and baroque-inspired ornamentation characteristic of 1920s movie palaces. After a multi-year restoration, the Fox now hosts concerts, Broadway touring productions, and large-scale events.
