Houston Bowery Wall (77 Houston Street)

The Houston Bowery Wall at 77 Houston Street is a long-standing outdoor mural wall that hosts a rotating program of large-scale commissioned murals and street art. Since the 1980s the wall has featured works by prominent artists including Keith Haring and, in later years, JR and Shepard Fairey, among others. It is curated as a high-profile public art site in Lower Manhattan where new temporary murals are regularly commissioned.
