Potter Hall

Potter Hall is a historic house located in Williston, Caroline County, Maryland, showcasing early 19th-century Federal architecture. Built in three distinct sections, the house features a tall Flemish bond brick structure from around 1808, a central section dating back to 1750, and a kitchen wing added in 1930. Originally settled by Zabdiel Potter, it played a significant role as a port for tobacco shipping to Baltimore. Recognized for its historical importance, Potter Hall was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, making it a noteworthy destination for tourists and researchers interested in early American history.
