Cadillac Place (former General Motors Building)

Designed by Albert Kahn and built in the early 20th century, Cadillac Place served as General Motors' corporate headquarters for much of the 20th century. The 14-story Beaux-Arts building later became one of the largest office buildings in Detroit and was sold to the State of Michigan, which renovated it for state offices. The building is connected via an underground concourse to the adjacent Fisher Building, forming a prominent complex on West Grand Boulevard.
