Fort Worth Stockyards cattle drives

The Fort Worth Herd conducts twice-daily cattle drives of Texas longhorns down Exchange Avenue in the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District as a living‑history attraction. The drives run in front of the historic stockyards buildings and are presented for visitors to recall the city’s role as a major cattle-shipping center. The Stockyards area is a preserved commercial district that interprets Fort Worth’s cattle and cowboy heritage.
