Sigdal House

Sigdal House is a historic 230-year-old Norwegian log home, originally from the Vatnas area of Sigdal, Norway, now located in the Scandinavian Heritage Park in Minot, North Dakota. This authentic 19th-century rural Norwegian house features beautifully restored interior door decorations dating back to around 1800. Dismantled in Norway, the house was shipped and reassembled in the park, where it was dedicated on October 15, 1991, during the annual Norsk Høstfest, making it a significant cultural landmark for visitors and researchers interested in Norwegian heritage.
