Foxcote House is an impressive 18th-century country house located in Ilmington, Warwickshire, England. This Grade II* listed property, built around 1740 and attributed to architect Edward Woodward, features 11 bedrooms, five bathrooms, and expansive gardens. Historically, it served as the family seat of the Canning family for ten generations until 1848. After various ownerships, including a private school, it was purchased in the 1960s by Christopher Boot Holman, who undertook significant restorations. In 1997, American billionaire Les Wexner acquired the estate, which has since been valued at £20 million. The Wexners have refurbished the house and host traditional British shooting parties, although some critics note that the renovations have transformed it into a shooting lodge rather than preserving its historical grandeur.
