Hope Building

The Hope Building, constructed in 1894, is a historic commercial structure located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As one of the few remaining 19th-century buildings in Downtown Albuquerque, it showcases the architectural style typical of the era, featuring a red brick facade with arched openings. Originally serving as the medical office and residence of Dr. Walter G. Hope, the building has housed various businesses over the years, including a photography studio and a newspaper. It was restored to its original exterior appearance in the late 1970s and is listed on the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties and the National Register of Historic Places, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in the region's history.
