National Museum of the American Indian (Douglas Cardinal building)

The Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian building on the National Mall was designed by Canadian architect Douglas Cardinal and opened in 2004. It houses the Smithsonian's national collection of Native American objects, languages, and cultural materials representing Indigenous peoples of the Americas.
