Builders Building

The Builders Building, located at 222 North LaSalle Street in Chicago, is a historic 26-story structure originally completed in 1927. Designed in the Classical Revival style, it was initially intended to house construction companies and featured an atrium for exhibitions. The building underwent significant renovations from 1980 to 1986, adding four stories and modern amenities while preserving its architectural integrity. It is now part of the West Loop–LaSalle Street Historic District and is recognized for its contribution to the area's history. Today, it offers nearly a million square feet of office space and is home to notable tenants like the law firm Vedder Price, making it an interesting stop for both tourists and researchers exploring Chicago's architectural heritage.
