Pleasant View Home

Pleasant View Home is a historic senior citizen residential facility located in Concord, New Hampshire. Originally the residence of Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, from 1892 to 1908, the site has a rich history intertwined with Eddy's philanthropic efforts and the establishment of her church. After Eddy's death, the original house was demolished in 1917, and a new building was constructed in 1927, which now serves as a retirement community. The facility was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in American religious history and architecture.
