Greenlawn (Middletown, Delaware)

Greenlawn, also known as the Outten Davis House and William Brady House, was a historic home in Middletown, Delaware, built around 1810 and significantly altered in 1860. This two-story brick dwelling showcased a blend of Late Georgian and Late Victorian architectural styles, featuring a distinctive cross-gable roof, a three-bay front porch, and ornate chimney caps. It was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, although it was unfortunately demolished in the mid-1980s. The site offers a glimpse into the architectural evolution of the region and its historical context.
