Originally a private home, it became a traveler accommodation in the 19th century and is one of the few surviving buildings from that era in Falmouth. The tavern features a charming 2.5-story wood-frame structure with Federal period woodwork, a taproom with original plaster walls, and a rich history tied to the Hall family. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 and now serves as a cozy bed and breakfast, making it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
