Detroit Industry Murals (Detroit Institute of Arts)

Diego Rivera painted the Detroit Industry Murals in the Detroit Institute of Arts' Rivera Court between 1932 and 1933. The 27-panel mural complex depicts industrial processes and labor in Detroit, with a strong focus on the automobile industry, and was commissioned by Edsel Ford. The murals are considered among Rivera's major works and remain installed inside the DIA for public viewing.
