Washington Square Mall redevelopment

Washington Square Mall was an enclosed shopping mall located east of downtown at this site. After losing most of its anchor tenants in the 2000s, the enclosed mall structure was largely demolished and the property was redeveloped as an outdoor power center called Washington Pointe. The transformation converted a once-enclosed suburban mall footprint in Indianapolis into a strip-style shopping center.
