Activities and Recreation Center (UIUC)

The Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign is one of the largest on-campus recreation centers in the United States, spanning 340,000 square feet. Located near Memorial Stadium, the ARC features extensive facilities including an indoor and outdoor pool, multiple gymnasiums, and various multipurpose rooms. The indoor pool serves as the home venue for the Illinois Fighting Illini women's swimming and diving team, while the gymnasiums accommodate basketball, volleyball, and futsal. The center underwent a significant renovation completed in 2008, enhancing recreational opportunities for students and guests alike.
