Avianca Building

The Avianca Building is a striking 161-meter-tall office skyscraper located in Bogotá, Colombia, at the intersection of 16th street and Seventh Avenue, adjacent to Santander Park. Completed in 1969, it was the tallest international style skyscraper in South America at the time and was designed by renowned architecture firms. The building features 40 floors with continuous window facades, embodying modern architectural aesthetics. Notably, it experienced a significant fire in 1973 that resulted in casualties but left the structure largely intact. Today, it remains an active office space and a prominent landmark in the city.
