House of Khurshidbanu Natavan

The House of Khurshidbanu Natavan, located in Shusha, Azerbaijan, is a historical and architectural gem from the 18th or 19th century. Once the residence of the renowned Azerbaijani poet Khurshidbanu Natavan, this three-storey house showcases unique architectural features, including stone and brick construction, frescoes, and alabaster carvings. It served various purposes over the years, including a music and art school during Soviet rule, before becoming a house-museum dedicated to Natavan. The building suffered significant damage during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War but was restored after Azerbaijan regained control of Shusha in 2020.
