The NoMad

The NoMad was a renowned hotel and restaurant located in the vibrant NoMad neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. Opened in 2012, the restaurant earned a Michelin star for its seasonal European-American cuisine, with signature dishes like a whole roasted chicken stuffed with foie gras and truffles. The hotel featured a stunning Beaux-Arts facade and was designed by French architect Jacques Garcia, inspired by Parisian aesthetics. Although it boasted a rooftop dining space and multiple unique dining rooms, The NoMad closed permanently in March 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The building itself, constructed in the early 1900s, is a contributing property to the Madison Square North Historic District, showcasing rich architectural details and historical significance.
