Top of the Mark rooftop lounge

Top of the Mark is the rooftop bar and lounge atop the InterContinental Mark Hopkins hotel, opened in its present form in 1939. The venue occupies the 19th floor and provides panoramic, often less-expected views of the downtown skyline, Coit Tower, and the bay from a high, enclosed rooftop setting. The lounge historically served as a gathering spot for servicemembers during World War II and remains a notable indoor rooftop viewpoint in the city.
