Hitsville U.S.A. (Motown Museum)

Berry Gordy founded Motown Records in a house on West Grand Boulevard in 1959. The building at 2648 West Grand Boulevard served as the label's first headquarters and recording studio where artists including Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Diana Ross & The Supremes made early recordings. The house was later preserved and opened as the Motown Museum, documenting the label's role in American music history.
