Magoffin Home - Territorial Adobe House Museum

The Magoffin Home, built beginning in 1875 and expanded in the late 19th century, is an adobe house that exemplifies the blended Hispanic, Anglo and frontier building traditions of the U.S.–Mexico border. It was the family residence of pioneer Charles H. Magoffin and later became a house museum documenting domestic life in 19th-century El Paso. The property is preserved as a Texas state historic site and retains original architectural features including adobe walls and woodwork.
