City Tower (Prague)

City Tower, standing at 109 meters, is the tallest skyscraper in Prague and the second tallest in the Czech Republic. Located in the Pankrác district, it was originally constructed to house the headquarters of Československý rozhlas. After facing challenges including asbestos issues and failed sales, the building underwent a significant reconstruction led by architect Richard Meier, completed in 2008. It features a striking glass facade, 18 high-speed elevators, and the highest restaurant in the country on its 27th floor, which has received Michelin's Bib Gourmand award. Today, it serves as a modern office space, primarily for Raiffeisenbank, and is a notable landmark in the city's skyline.
