Ahnighito (Cape York) iron meteorite on display

The American Museum of Natural History's Hall of Meteorites displays the Ahnighito, a large iron meteorite recovered from the Cape York region of northwest Greenland. Explorer Robert Peary transported the specimen to New York in the late 19th century and it has been exhibited by the museum since that time. Ahnighito is one of the largest meteorite specimens on public display anywhere in the world.
