Dutch Pavilion (Singapore)

The Dutch Pavilion, located within the Shangri-La Singapore hotel in Tanglin, is a historic building originally established as the Hollandse School in 1928. Designed by architect Heinrich Rudolf Arbenz, it features a charming colonial-style architecture with a pitched roof and bell tower. After serving as a school and enduring the Japanese Occupation, it was repurposed as a tennis pavilion in 1988 and underwent a complete restoration in 2014 to become a picturesque wedding venue. Its rich history and architectural significance make it an interesting stop for tourists and researchers alike.
