Old South Church (Copley Square)

The Old South Church congregation dates to 1669 and occupies a landmark Gothic Revival building in Copley Square completed in 1875 by architects Charles Amos Cummings and Willard T. Sears. It is a United Church of Christ congregation with a long history of public worship and community programming in Boston. The building is a prominent element of the Copley Square streetscape and remains in regular liturgical use.
